Global Connections: Treston Student Leaders Welcome Nagoya Delegates for 3G Project Exchange

The 3G Project cultural exchange program culminated in a meaningful and dynamic visit to Treston International College on July 25, 2025, where Treston student leaders warmly welcomed delegates from Nagoya, Japan. Led by the School of Culinary, Hospitality and Tourism and School of Business, and in partnership with JCI Manila and JCI Nagoya, the event brought together young leaders in a celebration of cultural understanding, collaboration, and social responsibility.
The program featured a campus tour and a hands-on Filipino cooking lesson led by Chef Al Emerson Carriaga and the Treston Culinary students, offering a taste of Filipino culture through its rich culinary heritage. Students from both countries also took part in fun, purposeful, and leadership-centered activities designed to deepen cross-cultural bonds.
One of the most impactful moments of the exchange was a charity drive for typhoon-affected communities in Marikina, where participants united in service and purpose.

This on-campus leg of the initiative followed Treston student leaders’ participation in the Treston X JCI Manila and Nagoya, Japan 3G-Project: Global Network Gather for the Next Generation, which took place in Nagoya, Japan from July 11 to 14, 2025. This international leadership and cultural exchange program served as an inspiring platform for student leaders to connect, collaborate, and cultivate a sense of global citizenship.
