Prandium 2025: A Taste of SHS Mastery in Action

Treston Senior High School (SHS) students took the spotlight during their culminating event, Prandium: Fine Dining Experience 2025, held last April 23, 2025 at the Treston Bar and Dining Hall.
This exceptional event was a collaborative endeavor between the Grade 11 and 12 Culinary Strand students and Grade 11 Tourism Strand students under the expert mentorship of Chef Al Emerson Carriaga and Prof. Vince Gabriel from the School of Culinary, Hospitality, and Tourism.
From meticulously crafting a sophisticated five-course menu to orchestrating the venue setup and Food and Beverage services, the students displayed outstanding skill, creativity, and professionalism. The impressive performance of the kitchen and fine dining brigades was spearheaded by Maître d’Hôtel Mr. Duke Xavier Babica and Executive Chef Ms. Anne Louise Cruz.

Prandium was more than just a culminating activity—it was a celebration of experiential learning, collaboration, and real-world application. The event underscored the students’ commitment, refined talents, and readiness to thrive in the dynamic fields of hospitality and culinary arts.
