Treston Senior High School (SHS) successfully held an enriching international tour to Hong Kong and Macau, providing students with valuable cultural exposure and global educational insights, December 2 to 6.

The delegation, composed of select students and parents and TRESTON department heads, was led by Student Affairs & Services Office Head Ms. Gladys S. Estrella, Senior High School Assistant Principal Mr. Kenneth C. Castillo, and the Innovation, Publication & Research Office Head Mr. Wilmor L. Pacay III.

The international tour provided rich cultural and recreational experiences, notably a visit to Ngong Ping Village, where students enjoyed a cable car ride and paid a visit to the iconic Giant Buddha. The itinerary also included a memorable day at Hong Kong Disneyland.

In Macau, the delegation visited a temple, and the Ilha Verde campus of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) Macao where they engaged in insightful discussions with the institution’s officials and were given a tour around the campus.

This year’s international tour effectively reinforced TRESTON’s commitment to global immersion, fostering international cultural understanding, and preparing students for their education at the tertiary level. The event followed last year’s tour which was a tour to Seoul, South Korea. Students and parents may stay connected for future educational international tours scheduled next year.
