TRESTON hosts nationwide skills olympics for tourism and hospitality


 
Treston International College proudly served as the official venue host of the 17th Annual Tourism and Hospitality Congress and Skills Olympics held on October 2-3, 2025.

 


 
Guided by the theme “Fostering 21st Century Competencies and ASEAN-Recognized Skills Aligned with Global Standards for Inclusive and Sustainable Development,” the event brought together colleges and universities nationwide for two days of inspiring competitions, insightful exchanges, and meaningful collaborations.

 


 
TRESTON Deputy President Ms. Sheryl Genuino-See delivered a heartfelt welcome message, emphasizing the importance of equipping individuals with globally recognized skills and fostering an inclusive environment where every learner has the opportunity to grow, lead, and make an impact.

 


 
Adding to the spirit of hospitality, TRESTON student and staff volunteers extended a warm welcome and provided exceptional support to all participating schools, displaying service excellence, professionalism, and teamwork.

 

 
The 17th Annual Tourism and Hospitality Congress and Skills Olympics was organized by the Union of Filipino Tourism Educators, led by its president, Dr. Rumar R. Abaigar.

 
TRESTON is honored to be part of this milestone event that celebrates and champions skills development, innovation, inclusivity, and global competitiveness in the tourism and hospitality industry.
